Hi! I’m Marco. You might have gone to this page to know more about me, the founder of Brightly, and you’re at the right place.
I am a dad, and together with my wife, we are raising our energetic and imaginative daughter named Sophia. She’s in her early and formative years of schooling. Since Sophia was born, much like other parents, we’ve been working to set her up for a successful and bright future.
However, our daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic. She has been attending behavioral, speech and occupational therapy since to cope up with her peers in different skill areas.
Trusting in the process, Sophia has been slowly but steadily gaining skills and currently we are working on her reading skills. Luckily she has developed an interest for storytelling and books, and this has been one of the many ways she’s learning about the world. As a young child getting ready for grade school we understand the importance of reading as a foundational skill in school and academics.
This is one of the reasons why I founded Brightly, to setup young children (typical or atypical) for success through foundational skills for school. Together with our pool of bright, passionate and motivated teachers we hope Brightly will be a great resource for your child’s learning and development.
